For teachers and students
An interactive story maker for class
Pominis turns a lesson topic, a set text or a student's own writing into a short interactive story that a class can play in the browser. Describe what you're teaching or attach the reading; its AI agent writes the scenes, draws the characters and adds choices that make students think about what happens next. Share it with one link. The first chapter is usually ready in 5 to 10 minutes.

How it works
From a lesson plan to one link for the class
- 01
Start from the lesson
Describe the topic, the age group and what students should take away, or attach the reading as a .docx, .pdf or text file.
- 02
Check the draft
Play the first chapter yourself before class. Fix any line, fact or choice on the story canvas, or ask the agent to change it in one sentence.
- 03
Share one link
Publish it unlisted so only people with the link can play. Students open it in a browser on a laptop, tablet or phone, with nothing to install.

Ways to use it in class
Step inside a set text
Students play a character from the book, face the decisions the author gave them, then compare their path with the original.
Decide at a turning point
In history or civics, students make the choices people faced at the time and see where each one leads.
Let students make their own
For a creative writing assignment, students turn their stories into something classmates can play, then give feedback on the choices.
Turn a report into a presentation
The visual presentation format turns a report or a talk into an illustrated sequence the class can click through.
Questions, answered.
Is Pominis free for teachers?
You can start for free: new accounts get 300 free credits and the free plan adds 120 credits every week. An illustrated chapter usually uses around 100 to 130 credits. Playing and publishing are free. There is no separate school plan; paid plans add more credits.
Can students make their own stories?
Yes, if they are 13 or older (or the minimum age where they live). Pominis is not intended for younger children, except for educational use through a school that has verifiable parental consent.
Do students need to install anything?
No. Stories play in a web browser on laptops, Chromebooks, tablets and phones.
Can I keep a story out of public listings?
Yes. Publish it unlisted: it stays out of public listings and opens only for people with the link. Or keep it private while you work on it. Both are free.
Is the content accurate?
AI can get facts wrong. Treat the draft like any material you didn't write: play it through before class and correct names, dates and facts on the story canvas.
What languages can a story be in?
Write your request in English, Chinese or another language and the story is written in that language, which also makes it useful for language classes.
How long does it take?
The first chapter is usually ready in about 5 to 10 minutes. Checking it and fixing details takes as long as you want to spend.
