On the last week of summer, Akira receives an incoming voice message from Mio Tsukishiro, the astronomy-club president who vanished seven years ago. Her voice sounds exactly seventeen. She says the abandoned observatory beneath the seaside cliffs will rise for one night, and asks him to come before the lowest tide ends.
