Prioritize actual gameplay over static descriptions.Build a playable, mobile-friendly story game called DREAMVERSE with the tagline “Love, Secrets & Infinite Worlds.”
GENRE:
Romance, crushes, interactive storytelling, mystery, friendship, and exploration.
MAIN GAMEPLAY:
Romance and crushes must be the main focus, because this received the most votes in my audience poll. Mystery must also be a major gameplay element, woven into the romantic storylines rather than treated as a separate, unrelated mode.
Create an interactive story where players can:
- Create and customize their own character, including name, hairstyle, outfits, and appearance.
- Explore a school, town, cafés, bedrooms, parks, and other story locations.
- Meet characters with distinct personalities, backgrounds, secrets, and relationship routes.
- Develop friendships, experience crushes, receive anonymous messages, and uncover secret admirers.
- Make meaningful dialogue choices that influence relationships and story outcomes.
- Investigate clues, solve mysteries, discover hidden conversations, and unlock secret scenes.
- Experience multiple endings based on their decisions.
- Unlock outfits, collectibles, locations, and additional story chapters.
STORY CONCEPT:
The player enters a new school and begins meeting interesting characters. One character starts sending anonymous messages that seem romantic but contain strange clues. As the player builds relationships and investigates these clues, they discover that several characters are hiding secrets. The player must decide whom to trust, whom to grow closer to, and which mysteries to solve.
ROMANCE SYSTEM:
Include different romance routes with original fictional characters, gradual relationship development, meaningful conversations, misunderstandings, emotional moments, and relationship choices. Do not make every character automatically fall in love with the player.
MYSTERY SYSTEM:
Include a clue journal, suspicious messages, locked locations, puzzles, red herrings, hidden information, and reveals that connect to the main storyline. Ensure that clues make sense and that players can solve the mystery through exploration and choices.
VISUAL DESIGN:
Use a dreamy, polished aesthetic with lavender, midnight blue, soft pink, moonlight, stars, glowing details, beautiful locations, and expressive character portraits. Keep the interface readable and suitable for mobile screens.
TECHNICAL REQUIREMENTS:
- Make the game playable on Android mobile browsers.
- Create functional buttons, dialogue choices, navigation, character customization, and story progression.
- Save player progress locally when supported.
- Include a main menu, settings, story interface, relationship indicators, inventory or clue journal, and an ending screen.
- Use original characters, original dialogue, and original artwork or properly licensed assets.
- Do not include nonfunctional placeholder buttons or claim features work unless they are implemented.
- If the complete game is too large to build at once, create a working first chapter with one romance route, one mystery, meaningful choices, and at least two possible endings.
The finished experience should feel like a real interactive game, not just a static website or a collection of character descriptions. Prioritize a playable first chapter before adding more features.
